The history of tennis

The game of tennis was originally created by European monks for the purpose of entertainment and post religious ceremonies. The palm of the hand was originally used to hit the wooden ball and was soon replaced with a racquet and leather ball. Euopeans treasued their newly invented game and it became very popular around the 14th century.
